The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is offering direct recruitment to interested and eligible candidates for 52,699 constables posts. This recruitment drive is the largest in the state creating history for the state police by offering direct recruitment for 52,699 constables posts. The written examination will be scheduled at year-end tentatively. 33,757 posts were planned to be filled up initially but with a delay of 10 months, the total vacant seats have been increased to 52,699.
Age Limit
The minimum age for the candidate to be eligible for the recruitment process is 18 Years. However, the maximum age is 23 Years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is available as per the rules and regulations set by the government of India.

UP Police Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The selection process for the constable posts will include the following steps.
Phase 1: OMR-based Offline Written Examination- This phase will test the candidate’s aptitude, analyzing skills, and knowledge in various fields.
Phase 2: Document Verification: Qualified students are called and their documents are verified. Relevant documents are required like caste/category certificates, age proof, educational certificates, etc.
Phase 3: Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates clearing 2nd phase will undergo an evaluation of their physical fitness. Their physical endurance, chest measurements, and height are also evaluated.
Phase 4: Medical Examination: Qualified Candidates undergo a medical examination to ensure that they possess the medical fitness required to fulfill the duties associated with the post.
