Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has released a notification on its official website for TNPSC Recruitment 2023 for the position of Assistant Geologist. According to the notification, the total number of vacant seats reported is 40.
The candidates qualifying for these posts will be recruited for various departments of the states like the states’ Geology and Mining Department and Groundwater Wing of Water Resources. Therefore, these posts are available under the recruitment drive of the Combined Geology Subordinate Service.
The eligible and interested candidates for TNPSC Recruitment 2023 can apply online until 23 June 2023 for the posts released. The window for correcting the application form will be valid from 28 June to 30 June 2023. The selection process includes a written examination scheduled on 18 August 2023.

Salary structure
The selected candidates will be paid monthly on the pay scale of – Rs.37,700 – 1,19,500 (Level 20).
Selection Process
The selection process includes two stages.
(i) Written Examination
(ii) Oral Test/ interview.
The marks of both of the examinations conducted will be taken together for evaluation and the students will be selected accordingly.
