NIT Silchar has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for the position of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. The NIT Silchar Recruitment 2023 drive has been started by the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar. A total of 68 vacancies have been reported for which recruitment will be done. It is to be notified to interested candidates that the application form fill-up process has been started. The moment the NIT released the notification, the application form fill-up date began.
In the Employment News, newspaper advertisement, on 17th June, the notification for the recruitment process was released. As per the notification released, the concluding date of the application submission will be marked 10 days after its publication in the newspaper. Thus, the last date for filling up the application form is 27 June. Therefore it is advised to eligible and interested candidates to complete their application process within the prescribed dates.
NIT Silchar Recruitment 2023: Apply Online
Application fill up process is required to be completed through both offline and online means. To be a part of this recruitment drive, candidates are required to fill up the application form by visiting the official website of NIT Silchar, www.nits.ac.in. This has to be done in online mode. Until 27 June, candidates can fill up the application form. After 27 June, within 10 days, the hardcopy of documents along with the application form should be sent to the following address- To the Dean (FW), National Institute of Technology Silchar, P.O. NIT Silchar Recruitment 2023: Application fee
The application fee that every candidate is required to pay is fixed at Rs 1100. However, reserved category candidates like the SC, ST, PWD, and Divyang category candidates are exempted from paying any fee.
Selection Process
The NIT Silchar Recruitment 2023 will be based on merit. The applicants will be invited for a round of interviews along with the verification process of the documents submitted. Any type of clearance allowance or travel allowance will not be paid to the candidates. All candidates are required to make their arrangements. As per the notification, the selected candidates will be given a salary between pay levels 10 to 14.
