NDA is an entrance exam which is conducted by the UPSC or the Union Public Service Commission of India for commissioned ranks in the Indian Armed Forces which includes the Navy, Air Force, and Army. The Union Public Service Commission of India conducted the written exam on September 2nd, 2023 and the exams were held across many centers spread across the length and breadth of the country.
It must be noted that this is just the first phase of the recruitment process and the final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the written exam as well as the SSB interview and stringent Physical tests. There are usually 350+ vacancies which can increase or decrease as per requirements. The minimum passing marks based upon the past history is 25% in each subject. The cut off percentage varies as per the paper difficulty, the total number of candidates and the total number of seats.
