India Post has invited applications for eligible and interested candidates to apply for the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks. The India Post Recruitment 2023 recruitment drive has been started for various posts in Indian Post such as Assistant Branch Postmaster or Dak Sevak, Branch Postmaster, and Gramin Dak Sevaks or GDS. Candidates who are eligible and interested to apply, can do the same by visiting indiapostgdsonline.gov.in, the official website of India Post.
The form fill-up procedure has begun and the last date to apply for the position is on or before 11 June 2023. If Candidates wish to edit their forms, they can modify their details from 12 June 2023 to 14 June 2023. The total number of vacancies reported is 12828. This recruitment drive aims to fill up 12828 posts in various Branch Post Offices as Assistant Brank Postmaster and Branch Postmaster.
India Post Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
The minimum age required to apply for these positions is 18 years. However, the maximum age should not exceed 40 years. All calculations regarding age are to be done keeping in mind “11 June” as the date. For the reserved category candidates, upper-age relaxation is also available as per government rules and regulations.

Educational Qualification
The candidates must possess a certificate of passing the Secondary School Examination and 10th standard. Mathematics and English subjects should be studied in school as either elective or compulsory subjects. They must have their educational qualification from any government-recognized school or institution. Knowing cycling, computers, and adequate means of livelihood is also required.

Interested and eligible candidates are required to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. However, there is no fee payment applicable for female applicants. The SC, ST, PWD, and TransWomen applicants are also exempted from paying any fee.
