GMRC or Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation has notified 424 non-executive posts. Interested candidates can apply for these posts by filling up applications for direct recruitment. The 424 posts include various job roles, such as Maintainer ( fitter/Electrical/Electronics), Customer Relation Assistant ( CRA), Junior Engineer ( Civil/Mechanical/Electronics), Train Operator, and Station Controller.
Interested candidates can apply online via the official GMRC website, https://www.gujaratmetrorail.com/. Interested and eligible candidates must apply before the deadline, i.e., June 9. The remuneration per month is close to one lakh. However, the hiring that will be done now will be on a contractual basis at least for 5 years.

Application Fees
The Application fee for the candidates belonging to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category is ₹150. Moreover, if you belong to an unreserved category, then the fee is ₹600.
Eligibility Criteria
For the post of TO or SC, and Junior Engineer, the candidates must hold a Diploma in Engineering in Electronics and Communications discipline/ Computer Engineering or Electronics/ Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical from any government- recognized institute or University. Furthermore, for the post of Maintainer, the candidate must possess a passing certificate in SSLC having a specific job role in ITI. The minimum age limit is 18 years, however, the maximum age limit is 28 years.

Gujarati Language Text: 20 Marks
